K9 Advantix II Main Uses

  • Monthly topical for dogs to kill and repel fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, and lice; also reduces biting from stable flies, helping prevent parasite-borne irritation and disease transmission in dogs.
  • Controls fleas (including all life stages: adult fleas, flea eggs, and flea larvae) on dogs.
  • Works through contact with parasites, meaning fleas and ticks do not need to bite the dog to be affected by the active ingredients.
  • Remains effective even after swimming and bathing.

K9 Advantix II Active Ingredients

  • Imidacloprid: Adulticidal neonicotinoid targeting fleas on contact; contributes to rapid flea kill on the dog’s skin and coat surface.
  • Permethrin: Pyrethroid that kills and repels ticks and mosquitoes; provides repellency that reduces bites from ticks, mosquitoes, and stable flies.
  • Pyriproxyfen: Insect growth regulator that disrupts development of flea eggs and larvae to break the flea life cycle.
