Rx B12 Main Uses
Cobalamin (Vitamin B12) Support: A highly palatable source of bioavailable cobalamin to help maintain normal serum cobalamin levels in dogs and cats.
Cobalamin Deficiency: May be given to animals with a cobalamin deficiency due to illness or disease, or to replace missing nutrients from their daily diet.
Essential for Overall Pet Health: Vitamin B12 plays a key role in maintaining cellular health and supporting a healthy appetite in dogs and cats.
Commonly Used Alongside Treatment of Chronic Disease: Cobalamin supplementation is frequently included in the management of conditions affecting the GI tract, kidneys, pancreas, thyroid, and liver, where B12 deficiency is a common secondary concern.
Preferred Form for Pets: Cyanocobalamin is the only form of Vitamin B12 that has been researched in animals, making it the preferred choice for pets compared to methylcobalamin, which is found in most human B12 supplements.
 
Rx B12 Active Ingredients
Active Ingredient (per 1 mL): Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin) — 250 mcg
Inactive Ingredients: Glycerin, Water, D-Fructose, Natural flavourings (non-animal origin), Potassium sorbate.
 
Rx B12 Dosage & Administration
Route: Oral liquid. Shake well before each use.
Frequency: Once daily
Dosing by weight (250 mcg/mL formulation):
Dogs and cats up to 11 kg (24 lbs): 1 mL daily
Dogs 11.1–22 kg (24–48 lbs): 2 mL daily
Dogs 22.1–45 kg (49–99 lbs): 4 mL daily
Dogs over 45 kg (99 lbs): 6 mL daily
A graduated dropper is included for accurate dosing.
 
Rx B12 Safety & Side Effects
Well tolerated at recommended doses. As a water-soluble vitamin, excess is excreted in urine.
Pregnant or breeding animals: Safe use in pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding has not been proven. Consult your veterinarian before use.
If condition worsens or does not improve: Stop product administration and consult your veterinarian.
Keep out of reach of children and other animals.

Store at 15°–25°C, out of direct sunlight.
