Pronefra Active Ingredients
Calcium carbonate: an intestinal phosphate binder that binds dietary phosphorus in the gastrointestinal tract, helping reduce its availability for absorption.
Magnesium carbonate: works alongside calcium carbonate as a second intestinal phosphate binder to help reduce the dietary availability of phosphorus.
Chitosan: helps bind uremic toxins in the intestine and supports normal kidney function.
Marine oligopeptides (fish protein hydrolysate): help contribute to the maintenance of balanced blood pressure.
How It Works: Pronefra combines two intestinal phosphate binders with chitosan and fish protein hydrolysate to provide multiple forms of nutritional support for normal kidney function and renal health.
 
Pronefra Dosage & Administration
Shake well before use. Light sedimentation is normal.
Administer orally twice daily at mealtime or within 2 hours after eating.
May be mixed with food or administered directly into the mouth using the provided dosing syringe.
Cats: 1 mL per 4 kg (8.8 lbs) body weight, twice daily.
Dogs: 1 mL per 5 kg (11 lbs) body weight, twice daily.
Ensure fresh drinking water is available at all times.
Follow your veterinarian's recommendations for your pet's individual renal health needs.
Available in 60 mL and 180 mL bottles.
 
Pronefra Safety & Storage
Consult your veterinarian before use, particularly if your pet is receiving other treatments or has specific health or digestive concerns.
Do not exceed the recommended daily amount unless directed by your veterinarian.
Always store in a dry place at room temperature, including after opening.
The product may freeze at low temperatures but will return to its original consistency after several hours at room temperature without affecting product quality.
