Supports kidney health in cats, particularly older felines suffering from chronic kidney disease (CKD).
Used to reduce the buildup of uremic toxins (e.g., indoxyl sulfate and para-cresyl sulfate), which are toxic byproducts of protein digestion and can harm kidney function when not eliminated properly.
 
Porus One Active Ingredients
The primary active ingredient is Renaltec®, a highly refined spherical carbon/charcoal adsorbent.
Renaltec® binds precursors of uremic toxins in the gut before they can enter the bloodstream, allowing their safe excretion via feces instead of by renal elimination.
The product is tasteless, odorless, and passes through the digestive system without being absorbed.
 
Porus One Dosage & Administration
Recommended dose: 500 mg (1 sachet) per cat daily, regardless of age or weight, unless a veterinarian directs otherwise.
The powder should be thoroughly mixed with wet cat food.
For cats fed dry food, mix with a small amount of something moist (like tuna water or chicken broth).
Administer at the same time each day for consistency; ideally, offer before mealtime when the cat is most hungry.
Do not administer within 2 hours of other oral medications or supplements to avoid potential interference with absorption.
It Is normal for a thin layer of Porus One to remain inside the packet.

Generally well-tolerated, neutral taste and odor, and does not irritate the GI tract.

Monitor for signs of hypersensitivity or allergic reactions; stop use and consult a veterinarian if any unusual symptoms arise.
Short-acting, with effects ceasing in 12–36 hours after discontinuation.
