Palladia Main Uses
- Palladia (toceranib phosphate) is a prescription tiyrosine kinase inhibitor approved for treating grade II–III cutaneous mast cell tumors in dogs, including cases with or without regional lymph node involvement.
- The medication has demonstrated therapeutic potential for treating various other cancers in dogs, including sarcomas, carcinomas (such as bladder cancer and mammary cancer), melanomas, anal sac adenocarcinoma, and multiple myeloma.
Palladia Active Ingredients
- Toceranib phosphate: Inhibits receptor tyrosine kinases involved in tumor cell proliferation and survival and in tumor angiogenesis, helping slow division of cancer cells and reduce tumor blood vessel growth, which may shrink or stabilize tumors.
Palladia Dosage & Administration
- It is in tablet form and is available in 10mg, 15 mg, 50 mg dosage strengths.
- Administer PALLADIA orally at an initial dose of 3.25 mg/kg body weight every other day. Always use as directed by a veterinarian.
- Tablets should not be split or crushed unless directed by a veterinarian.
