ProSeb Shampoo Main Uses
- Management of seborrhea and scaling skin conditions (greasy or flaky coat, skin odor) in dogs and cats; also indicated for other nonspecific dermatoses presenting with bacterial or fungal involvement.
- Provides antiseptic, antibacterial, antifungal, keratolytic, and antipruritic (anti-itch) action to address multiple skin concerns in a single wash.
ProSeb Shampoo Active Ingredients
- Sulfur (from Sodium Thiosulfate) 2% w/v: Provides keratolytic action to break down and remove excess skin scales, and exhibits antifungal and antibacterial properties.
- Salicylic Acid USP 2% w/v: Enhances the keratolytic effect by softening and loosening scales, supports antimicrobial action, and reduces skin inflammation and itching.
- Mechanism of Action: The sulfur and salicylic acid combination helps loosen and remove excess scale, supports normal skin turnover, and promotes a cleaner skin environment. The formulation also contains conditioning agents that help maintain coat quality and manageability.
ProSeb Shampoo Dosage & Administration
- Shake well before use.
- Wet coat thoroughly with warm water; apply shampoo and lather over the entire body.
- Allow a 5 to 10 minute contact time before rinsing thoroughly.
- Repeat as necessary or as directed by your veterinarian.
- Frequency of use is determined by your veterinarian depending on severity of the condition.
- Store at 15°C to 30°C in a cool, dry place.
