ProSeb Shampoo Main Uses
Management of seborrhea and scaling skin conditions (greasy or flaky coat, skin odor) in dogs and cats; also indicated for other nonspecific dermatoses presenting with bacterial or fungal involvement.
Provides antiseptic, antibacterial, antifungal, keratolytic, and antipruritic (anti-itch) action to address multiple skin concerns in a single wash.
 
ProSeb Shampoo Active Ingredients
Sulfur (from Sodium Thiosulfate) 2% w/v: Provides keratolytic action to break down and remove excess skin scales, and exhibits antifungal and antibacterial properties.
Salicylic Acid USP 2% w/v: Enhances the keratolytic effect by softening and loosening scales, supports antimicrobial action, and reduces skin inflammation and itching.
Mechanism of Action: The sulfur and salicylic acid combination helps loosen and remove excess scale, supports normal skin turnover, and promotes a cleaner skin environment. The formulation also contains conditioning agents that help maintain coat quality and manageability.
 
ProSeb Shampoo Dosage & Administration
Shake well before use.
Wet coat thoroughly with warm water; apply shampoo and lather over the entire body.
Allow a 5 to 10 minute contact time before rinsing thoroughly.
Repeat as necessary or as directed by your veterinarian.
Frequency of use is determined by your veterinarian depending on severity of the condition.
Store at 15°C to 30°C in a cool, dry place.
