Nutramax Denamarin Main Uses:
Denamarin Coated Tablets are designed to support and protect liver function in dogs and cats, especially in cases of liver disease, elevated liver enzymes, drug-induced liver stress, chronic hepatitis, or idiopathic hepatic dysfunction. Denamarin may help support cognitive function in dogs.
 
Nutramax Denamarin Active Ingredient:
S-Adenosylmethionine (SAMe): boosts glutathione production in the liver, enhancing detoxification and protecting cells from oxidative and other injury.
Silybin-phosphatidylcholine complex (SPC): supports antioxidant defenses, maintains healthy oxidative balance, and aids regeneration of liver cells. Silybin is a bioactive component of milk thistle extract. The addition of phosphatidylcholine increases its absorption.
 
Nutramax Denamarin Administration
Administration: Give on an empty stomach (at least one hour before a meal) for best absorption. Tablets should be swallowed whole to preserve the enteric coating.
Dosing adjustments: Your veterinarian may adjust the dosage based on your pet’s response or needs. Long-term administration may be recommended in some cases.

Denamarin 90mg for Cats & Small Dogs (up to 12 lbs / 5.5 kg)
Contains S-Adenosylmethionine 90 mg; Silybin-phosphatidylcholine complex (SPC) 31 mg, providing 9 mg of Silybin A+B
Up to 12 lbs (5.5kg) : 1 tablet daily
(>12 lbs/5.5 kg): 1 tablet twice daily
Denamarin 225mg for Medium Dogs (13–34 lbs / 6–15.5 kg)
Contains S-Adenosylmethionine 225 mg and Silybin-phosphatidylcholine complex (SPC) 82 mg, providing 24 mg of Silybin A+B
13 - 34 lbs (6 - 15.5 kg) : 1 tablet daily
Denamarin 425mg for Large Dogs (>35 lbs / >15.5 kg)
Contains S-Adenosylmethionine 425 mg and Silybin-phosphatidylcholine complex (SPC) 120 mg, providing 35 mg of Silybin A+B
35–65 lbs (16–29.5 kg): 1 tablet daily
66–120 lbs (30–54.5 kg): 2 tablets daily
Over 120 lbs (>54.5 kg): 3 tablets daily
