Vetradent Powder Water Additive Active Ingredients
Trisodium Citrate (or Sodium Citrate): Acts as a chelating agent to help disrupt the minerals in the dental biofilm (plaque) and may help balance oral pH.
Citric Acid: An organic acid that aids in breaking down the mineral structure of tartar and is part of the Biotrate™ mechanism to alter the bacterial environment.
Zinc Citrate (or Zinc Chloride in the liquid form): Provides an antimicrobial effect against oral bacteria and supports gum health.
The powder is designed to be odorless, colorless, and tasteless once dissolved to ensure pet acceptance and hydration is not affected.
 
Vetradent Powder Water Additive Dosage & Administration
Add 1 scoop (6 g) of Vetradent Powder to 1 Litre of hot water for about 30 seconds until dissolved.
Frequency: Administer daily.
Serving: Allow the water to cool before serving to the dog or cat.
Replacement: Prepare a fresh solution daily to maintain efficacy.

Generally well-tolerated, minor gastrointestinal upset or refusal to drink the water (due to sensitivity to taste/smell)
