Optixcare Eye Lube Active Ingredients
Carbomer 980: A high-viscosity polymer gel that provides superior lubrication and forms a stable, protective barrier on the eye surface compared to liquid drops.
Sorbitol: Functions as a humectant to help the eye surface retain moisture more effectively.
Additional Components: Formulated with sterile water, sodium hydroxide (to balance pH), and disodium EDTA and cetrimide (used as preservatives to maintain product sterility).
 
Optixcare Eye Lube Dosage & Administration
For Dry Eye Conditions: Instill 1-2 drops in both eyes, 2 to 4 times a day or as often as recommended by your veterinarian or veterinary ophthalmologist.
For Anesthesia: Instill 1-2 drops onto the corneal surface or conjunctival sac of both eyes as frequently as possible.
If administering multiple eye medications, wait 5 to 10 minutes between each medication, giving eye drops before eye ointments.
