Flexadin Advanced Main Uses
- Flexadin Advanced is a veterinary-formulated joint health supplement formulated to support mobility and joint function in dogs of all sizes, particularly those with osteoarthritis or age-related joint stiffness.
Flexadin Advanced Active Ingredients
- Active Ingredients per chew (3 g):
- Boswellia serrata (85% boswellic acid): 190 mg
- Omega-3 fatty acids (from flaxseed oil): 73 mg
- Chicken cartilage (UCII) (yielding 10 mg of collagen, including undenatured type II collagen): 40 mg
- Vitamin E: 23 mg (23 IU/UI)
- Omega-3 fatty acids (from fish oil): 16 mg
- How it works: UC‑II (Undenatured type II Collagen) may act through oral tolerance mechanisms to help modulate immune responses to type II collagen in joints, to help keep the immune system from attacking the joints. Boswellia and Omega-3 fatty acids provide anti-inflammatory support. Vitamin E acts as a powerful antioxidant to protect joint tissues from oxidative stress.
Flexadin Advanced Dosage & Administration
- Dogs: Give 1 chew once daily, regardless of dog size. May be given with or without food.
Flexadin Advanced Side Effects & Safety
- Presented as palatable supplements with generally good acceptance
- Warnings and contraindications: Not to use in pregnant or lactating animals; caution is prudent in pets with known food allergies to listed ingredients (e.g., chicken, fish oil) or with conditions affected by added nutrients; consult a veterinarian for animals with comorbidities or on concurrent medications as part of an osteoarthritis management plan.
