  • Osteoarthritis Management: Specifically used to support joint health and help manage the clinical signs associated with osteoarthritis

4CYTE Active Ingredients

  • Epiitalis: A world-exclusive, patented plant seed oil extract (Platycladus orientalis) shown to support joint health and inflammatory balance
  • Marine Concentrates: Contains a proprietary blend of New Zealand Green-Lipped Mussel, Abalone, and Marine Cartilage. These provide essential fatty acids, glycosaminoglycans (GAGs), and nutrients for the joint matrix.
  • Rosemary Extract: Included as a natural antioxidant to support cellular health.
  • Mechanism of Action: 4CYTE works at the molecular level to ssupports the body’s natural inflammatory response and cartilage cell health.

 

4CYTE Dosage & Administration

  • Loading Phase (First 4–6 Weeks): A higher dose is required initially to build up therapeutic levels.
    • 1–4 kg: 1 scoop daily.
    • 5–10 kg: 2 scoops daily.
    • 11–20 kg: 4 scoops daily.
    • 21–30 kg: 6 scoops daily.
    • 30+kg: 8 scoops daily.
  • Maintenance Phase: After the initial loading period, the dose is typically halved (e.g., 1/2 scoop for 1–4 kg, 1 scoop for 5–10 kg).
  • Administration: The chicken-flavored granules should be mixed once daily with the pet's wet or dry food. For picky eaters, it is recommended to introduce the product at a 1/2 scoop for the first 3 days.
  • Formulations: In Canada, it is available as Granules (for both dogs and cats).

 

4CYTE Side Effects & Safety

  • Common Side Effects: Generally well tolerated. Minor gastrointestinal sensitivity may occur if introduced too quickly; hence the recommended gradual 3-day introduction.
  • Safety Warnings & Contraindications:
    • Seafood Allergy: Do not use in animals with a known allergy to shellfish or marine products.
    • Pregnancy/Lactation: Not for use in pregnant or lactating animals.
    • Specific Conditions: Not recommended for use in pets with diabetes, or lung, liver, kidney, or heart dysfunction without veterinary oversight.
  • Storage: Store below 25°C. Refrigeration is recommended where possible in warmer climates to maintain the integrity of the marine lipids.
